Location: In the Clock Tower in Main Castle’s Marble Gallery, use the clock sub-weapon skill to open the hidden passage on the top right corner. Go up and head 2 rooms right to get the Alucart Mail.
3) Hide Cuirass

Effects: N/A
Location: From the bottom right Save Room in Main Castle’s Alchemy Laboratory, head left and down. You’ll end up in the bottommost portion of the Alchemy Laboratory, where a Skeleton, Blood Skeleton and Bone Scimitars guard the place. Head to the farthest left of that area and break the green orb upon the table to obtain the Hide Cuirass.
4) Bronze Cuirass
Bronze cuirass.

Effects: N/A
Location: From the entrance in Main Castle’s Long Library, just head 6 rooms directly to the left. You’ll end up in an area just below the Librarian’s shop. The Bronze Cuirass is on the leftmost portion of that place.
Bronze Cuirass is also an item drop of the green Axe Knight.
5) Mirror Cuirass
Polished to resist stoning.

Effects: Prevents Alucard from being petrify. Use this when treading areas full of Medusa Heads, Gorgons or Stone Roses.
Location: From the bottom Save Room in Main Castle’s Outer Wall, head right, bottom right, another right and 2 rooms down. You’ll end up in a huge area full of Medusa Heads. In the lower portion of that place is a barricade where a mist can pass through. Transform into Mist to enter the next room and get the Mirror Cuirass on a pedestal.
6) Iron Cuirass
Iron cuirass.

Effects: N/A
Location: Iron Cuirass is available from the Librarian’s shop and an item drop of Spear Guard and Flea Armor.
7) Fire Mail

Effects: Reduces damage taken from fire-based attacks.
Location: From the Save Room in Castle Keep of the Main Castle, just head 2 rooms left. You’ll end up in a huge open-air area which leads to Dracula’s throne room. In that place, head to the mid leftmost area that can be accessed while in Bat form. Walk into the platform and head to farthest left corner, where there’s a breakable wall just next to the Power of Mist relic. Smash the wall to uncover the Fire Mail.
Fire Mail is also an item drop of Gremlin and Hellfire Beast.
8) Healing Mail
Restores HP while walking.

Stats: DEF +4
Effects: If damaged, Alucard replenishes his HP while walking.
Location: From the Save Room in Castle Keep of the Main Castle, head left, bottom right and 3 more rooms right. You’ll end up in a huge area in Clock Tower, which is full of Sword Lords and Vandal Swords. In the bottom leftmost corner of that place is a breakable wall that leads to a hidden room. Break the wall to obtain the Healing Mail in the next room.
9) Steel Cuirass
Steel cuirass.

Location: Steel Cuirass is available from the Librarian’s shop.
10) Silver Plate
Silver breastplate.

Location: From the top right Save Room in Main Castle’s Royal Chapel, just head 7 rooms directly to the left. The Silver Plate is on the topmost portion, inside the attic of the tall tower.
11) Gold Plate

Location: From the top Save Room in Main Castle’s Outer Wall, head right, down and 2 rooms left. You’ll end up in Clock Tower’s entrance. From there head 2 areas left and you’ll be in the first of 3 consecutive vertical clockwork rooms. Then, go to the top left to enter the second room, which is full of Harpies and Medusa Heads. In that room, find the 2 cogwheel switches in the mid left and mid right corners. Smash these switches and you’ll hear a loud sound every time you hit them. Keep smashing the switches until you hear the distinct “click” sound and not the usual loud sound. Then exit to the lower left.
In the third room of 3 consecutive vertical rooms, head to lower mid left corner (just above the waters) and to mid right corner to smash another 2 cogwheel switches. After triggering all 4 switches, head to the bottommost left portion of the third room to find a hidden passage. Enter that passage to obtain the Steel Helm, Gold Plate and Star Flail.
Gold Plate is also an item drop of Blade, Gurkha and Hammer.
12) Dark Armor
Impervious to evil attacks.

Effects: Reduces the damage taken from dark-based attacks.
Location: Dark Armor is an item drop of Malachi.
13) Ice Mail

Location: From the top Save Room in Main Castle’s Outer Wall, head right, down and 3 rooms left. You’ll end up in a huge open-air area in Clock Tower where Phantom Skulls, Skull Lords and Flail Skeletons guards the place. Head to the middle portion of the broken platforms where there are 3 notable pillars at the background. Transform into a Bat and fly above those pillars to obtain the Ice Mail, Bekatowa and Shaman Shield.
Ice Mail is also an item drop of Frozen Shade.
14) Lightning Mail
Strong vs. lightning attacks.

Stats: DEF +8
Effects: Reduces damage taken from lightning-based attacks.
Location: From the Lion Warp Room in Inverted Castle’s Reverse Keep, head 2 rooms right and bottom left to obtain the Lightning Mail.

15) Platinum Mail

Location: From the Save Room in Castle Keep of the Main Castle, just head 2 rooms left. You’ll end up in a huge open-air area with broken stairs. Transform into Bat and fly to the other side, which is the room next to Dracula’s throne room. In the doorway, hit the breakable block to trigger a switch. This drops down a stairway and opens a hidden treasure room above. Go to that treasure room, then break all the urns and statues to obtain all the items. The last statue in the right corner contains a Platinum Mail.
Platinum Mail is also an item drop of Rock Knight.
16) Holy Mail
Strong vs. holy attacks.
Buy: N/A
Stats: DEF +11
Effects: Reduces damage taken from holy attacks. Equip this armor when fighting Richter Belmont to reduce significantly all his holy spells, sub weapon skills and even the damage taken from the Vampire Killer (whip).
Location: From the left Save Room in Main Castle’s Entrance head right and top left. The Holy Mail is on a ledge above.
17) Brilliant Mail
Increases sub weapon strength.

Stats: DEF +12, INT +1
Effects: Greatly increases the damage of Alucard’s sub weapons such as the Bible, axe, dagger and crucifix.
Location: Brilliant Mail is an item drop of Sniper of Goth.
18) Spike Breaker
Spike-breaking armor.

Stats: DEF +12
Effects: Alucard becomes invulnerable to spikes. Use Spike Breaker when venturing deeper inside the spiky rooms in Underground Caverns, Royal Chapel, Reverse Caverns and Anti-Chapel.
Location: From the right Save Room in Main Castle’s Catacombs, head right bottom right and 4 more areas directly to the right. You’ll end up in a pitch dark area full of deadly spikes. Transform into Bat and use the Echo of Bat skill (not to be confused with the Bat’s fireballs) to reveal some portion of that place while moving forward to the other side. Just constantly use the echo and be careful not to be hit by spike. After stomping on the white switch near the exit, head right, down and left. The Spike Breaker is on a pedestal at the leftmost corner.
19) Fury Plate
DEF goes up when damage taken.

Stats: DEF +13 but changes significantly when taking damage.
Effects: Fury Plate increases the defense power of Alucard whenever he is damaged.
Location: From the left Save Room in Inverted Castle’s Reverse Colosseum, head right, down and bottom right. You’ll end up in a place full of Azaghals. In that place, there is a broken floor in the middle just before the first broken pillar from the left. Smash that floor and go inside the hidden room below to obtain the Fury Plate.
Fury Plate is also an item drop of Minotaur.
20) Diamond Plate
Diamond breastplate.

Effects: N/A
Location: Diamond Plate is available from the Librarian’s shop.
21) Mojo Mail
Increases magic attack power.

Effects: Greatly increases magic damage such as the Bat’s fireball, Pentagram, Karma Coin and Power of Sire.
Location: Mojo Mail is an item drop of Tin Man.
22) Axe Lord Armor
Wearer becomes an Axe Knight.

Stats: ATK +2, DEF +15
Effects: Axe Lord Armor turns Alucard into an Axe Knight. The heavy armor limits his jumps, movement speed and actions but increases his attack power.
Location: From the entrance in Main Castle’s Long Library, just head 6 rooms to the left. You’ll end up in a small room just below the Librarian’s shop. In the leftmost portion of the ceiling is a small hole directly below the Librarian’s chair. Jump on that hole above multiple times by using the Gravity Boots relic’s special move (Down, Up + Jump). Keep on jumping while in mid-air and do not let yourself hit the ground until the Ring of Arcana, Axe Lord Armor and Dracula’s Tunic are obtained. If you messed up, just do it once again until you squeezes all the Librarian’s hidden items.
23) Walk Armor
DEF increases with map coverage.

Stats: INT -5. DEF varies but reaches at most +32.
Effects: The higher the percentage of Alucard’s map coverage, the tougher its defensive power becomes. Walk Armor has the toughest DEF in the game, even better than the God’s Garb, if you just managed to uncover all the hidden places and reached at least 199% map coverage.
Location: From the left Save Room in Main Castle’s Catacombs, just head directly to the right exit to obtain the Walk Armor.
24) Dracula Tunic
Embroidered nobleman’s tunic.

Stats: ATK +3, DEF +15, STR +1, CON +1, INT +1
Effects: N/A
Location: From the entrance in Main Castle’s Long Library, just head 6 rooms to the left. You’ll end up in a small room just below the Librarian’s shop.
